The course aims to provide the foundation for:

• Manage sites and content within a SharePoint 2010 Server Portal
• Set flows to manage the life cycle of a document
• Configure permissions and authorizations
• Integrate SharePoint 2010 with Microsoft Office 2010

The course consists of theoretical sessions that are alternate with practical sessions aimed at encouraging the assimilation of the content shown.

The course is not necessarily addressed to a technical audience but to all those users who should manage the portal and its content. There are no requirements of development basis or knowledge of information infrastructures.

It is important to be familiar with Internet Explorer for browsing the portal and Office tools for better understanding of the integration between the two environments.
